Claims Contact Representatives
Claims contact representatives handle calls from customers, claimants and other parties who need to report a claim. Claims contact representatives secure basic information from the customer, including where, when and how the loss occurred, who was involved, and if anyone was injured. They enter this information into our computer system and then forward the information and caller to a claims representative in an office near the caller.
Progressive claims contact representatives are compassionate, high-energy, service-oriented individuals with excellent communication and customer service skills. They enjoy solving problems and helping people, and they treat our customers with respect, courtesy and a positive attitude — because they know the last thing a person reporting a claim needs is a hassle.
Requirements
- Solid written, verbal and listening skills
- PC/data entry skills (type 25 WPM with 90% accuracy)
- Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced environment
- Prior customer service background a plus
